Tuppence still incubating her 5 eggs, but hatching is imminent - motion recording on for 12 hours during daylight.
Caught her returning to the box after a comfort break this morning.

Couldn't really say Paul, they are only 6 days' earlier than last year, and even if they did I'm not sure that I could identify them like many on here seem to be able to tell the BTs.

Thanks guys, it seems that Tuppence has come in to roost and nestle the young and maybe save the other 3 eggs until tomorrow.

Thanks Sammi and Elle. The fifth egg hatched a few minutes ago, so it's up to Tommy and Tuppence now. The feeding has been pretty regular - some of Tommy's offerings had to be broken up a bit to feed to the chicks, or devoured by Tuppence after he'd left. They are not yet using the mini mealworms that have been out for few days, have ordered more for tomorrow with the Bank Holiday likely to cause a delay, I thought I'd err on the safe side.

Congratulations Beechnut - Tuppence has done you proud! Lovely photos & the video clip is really cute. At least the weather is lovely for Tuppence & Tommy to have to do all the hard graft of feeding them all.
