Told you I'd forget how to do it! - just tried to send a pic of the modified Wallbox - failed dismally.
Got the photo resized and uploaded and shared, clicked direct link, created a forum post and pressed image square - no photo - just a filename!!

It doesn't matter, because we can all still see the photo & it's more important that you're clever enough to do things like that - I wouldn't have a clue!

Have a look here beechnut birdboxdiaries.boards.net/thread/4/upload-images-postsMatt explains it step by step, make sure when you click on the insert image part you remove the "http://" bit out of the Image URL: then paste the link to picture in and click insert image. Also make sure when you upload your picture to postimage you copy the link that says "direct link" Have a look at the link above and copy it step by step and you should be fine.

Hi Beechnut Looking good. My led lights arrived today and I've got to break it to hubby that they need fitting.....or maybe I'll do it myself. Hopefully it won't be such a difficult job on a bog standard garden nature apex box

Paul, Thanks for the reminder, but I thought I'd done all that Matt had written - even deleting the https..stuff.
So I am obviously doing something wrong or omitting something else!
Over the next day or so I will attempt to post some images until I get it right - so bear with me and my postings, I apologize in advance.

Hi Beechnut The other pitfall I fell into whilst posting pics was not taking the cursor as far to the left as possible after you've deleted the http thing. Backspace until the cursor will go no further in case there is a space before you paste the link.

I decided to change the camera in the Wallbox, seeing there was nothing happening in there, only roosting! I thought I'd ordered a higher definition wireless setup last year but couldn't find it so put in a low def model that I'd got as a spare a couple of seasons ago. It gives a better view of the whole box, so it will slightly better than the old one. It may need the focus adjusting, but I'll wait until the rooster gets in to see, before I start fiddling.

Yep Diane and Paul - Worked it out finally - I think I was removing the 'http//' too soon. Anyway, written it all down step by step, so hopefully "Drama - No Drama!" Loads of good photos and vids on here, looks promising for when things really start happening. Big change in the weather today, may slow things down a bit.

Had a little bit of activity this morning - I noticed a female GT on the hole a couple of times before making a move to inside and removing some of the mess left by the roosting male, which had accumulated over the last week or so since I changed over cameras. Fingers crossed for increased activity over the next few days.

Great that female is showing interest Beechnut and doing abit of cleaning. Can only be a positive sign.

I think that the female GT who was doing a little tidying up last week, has taken over roosting in the box.
It seems decidedly less covered in droppings, so hopefully the start of better things.
