Hi everyone,
I'm back π. Trying to catch up with all the goings on.
For the first time in years we have a pair of blue tits looking at renting our box. They started building about a week ago, so fingers crossed they carry on and lay eggs π€π€..
Not much else to report, still only the one box, old faithful, it's been going strong for about 12 years now.
Now I'm off to read everyone's posts π»

I think we have 2 eggs today, but she's fine a better job at covering them up. She may be a new mum, up to now the nest has not looked cosy at all and she never covered her first egg at all. π€·π€¦

Eggcellent! Still awaiting the first egg here in Yorkshire, the cup looks lovely and soft though and I have seen them doing their ahem business up in the tree today so maybe an egg for easter sunday!

Looks like our Blue Tit has started brooding, she has been on the nest a lot since late this afternoon.
Here are some photos
I'll just nip out for some tea with my old bird
Maybe we'll just have 6 eggs, assuming she lays one more in the morning.

6 eggs seen last night, she's still not fully incubating so I'm guessing we have 7 eggs today π€ππ£
