I don't know what sort of mouse, but he's lovely anyway, as is our mouse or mice who live somewhere in our Big Shed.

Oh no Natalie, I would never kill them, They're only in the garden. Food is there they're going to eat it! Who am I to kill something in its own environment? Would never do such a thing, I don't mind mice at all either.

We get the odd one from the field at the back. It appears at dusk, mostly on summer nights. Our bird feeders did attract rats which began to breed under the decking. With young children living and playing next door I had to call in pest control people. I now ensure I keep the areas clean under the feeders and move them around. We also get an occasional visit from this cheeky beggar and his/her partner though. They gnaw the plastic openings on the feeder to get to the sunflower hearts.

Hahaha picture made me laugh, We get a squirrel aswell. However we feed him in a different feeder so he gets his own stuff. I have never had a problem with rats on the feeders, However we do get few mice from the waste lands at the back of the garden. Its all overgrown and loads of trees etc we have few foxes knocking about at the back on the waste land but thats where these little mice come from. We will see how many it builds up to over the coming weeks

We have squirrels too & they feed on the fat balls - don't mind them, but I wish the blackbirds would stop digging in soil and exposing some plants down to their roots & scattering the small pebbles between paving slabs.
