Hello All - I'm back, but unfortunately not with anything in my wallbox - but I do have a definite robin's nest in the conifers at the side of my lawn no more than 10 paces from the empty wall box.
I have not yet had a look for the nest, as I don't want to disturb them, but I have put the feeder which I used for GTs on this side of the fencing and they are happily using it to take the mini mealworms that I am putting out.

Thanks guys, things going well with lots of feeding by both parents. Have ordered more minis but no despatch on Saturdays from Livefoods, so it will be tomorrow at best that they arrive. Still no sign or sound of GTs or BTs in the vicinity, so I'm not holding out much hope! Hope things are going well with your boxes.

Here, hopefully, is a pic of one of the robins waiting to go into the nest. The feeder below is an adapted one with a small hole size for robins (and tits)

Thanks Paul - It's unfortunate that I have no takers for the wallbox this year, in fact I've not seen or heard any Gts or Bts around the garden at all.
I am thankful that I finally got a robin's nest in the conifers at the side of my lawn at the back, after years of hoping!
The young robins fledged at the end of last week, the male continuing feeding while the female was building another nest at the bottom of the garden in the hawthorn hedge.
I've been continuing to feed them mini mealworms for the last couple of weeks or so and the male is using the feeder still, so I'll carry on topping in up to help them along even though I don't know how far the nest building, laying etc is progressing.
