A 'breakfast' visitor this morning... no access for this one due to the restrictions.... the starling has been named Johnny. 9 in the nest... parents seem to be getting peanut bits from somehwere (probably neighbours) and ignoring the live mealworms for now... regardless of health and safety all appears to be going down well. Growing very fast with signs of what appears to be feathers emerging on wings youtube.com/channel/UCm9HerLrITHMoDyq1miGT_g

Beautiful pics of the nest. They are so clear I love how you do that clever thing with the split screen too.

Brilliant pics. Lovely to see them growing and also good to know that food from garden feeders isn't totally off limits... My BT pair seem to be bringing in the occasional bit of what looks like fat/suet. It almost seems more digestible than some of the massive green caterpillar pieces they bring in at other times!

Great pictures Plenty of natural food for them they find it very easily the chicks are thriving well on whatever they have been given Iβve never brought mealworms before Just this once and never again, it took ages for them to find them in the end I put them in the globe caged feeder with the suet pellets so they have found them Itβs back to natural every time for my birds

Looks like we are down to 6 in the nest now... doesnt appear to have taken any out though. I think they have been pushed under the perimeter.....
