First time I have brought live mealworms I’ve put them in a window feeder close to the box, I tied the tray to the trellis in front of the box and they have just by past them I thought that would work as sometimes they land on it before going into box They seem busy finding food so I have never had to buy them in the past I sit here and hope they do find them sometime soon

I found the same when I first tried mealworms. Hopefully they will find them soon. It sounds like there is plenty out there to find naturally.

Mine do the same, they seem to have lots of natural food or there this year.

Well only an estimation on when it maybe 18th to 21st May, I may have a better idea once I see the chicks looking out for mum and dad with their food I really don’t want to miss fledging fingers crossed I will learn as activity will be feeding from hole

I’ve been away for 24 hours, when I have had chance to look for activity it appears eerie quieter today I have noticed some visits but far apart I noticed on Thursday Romeo was taking meal worm away in the opposite direction I didn’t think much of it at the time I thought he was just feeding Rose Today I saw the same thing happen, I feel nervous sat here and wondering, I fear the worst to be honest I can’t hear any sound coming from the box which I would expect Im not looking forward to investigating if things don’t pick up 🥲
Just as I was typing mum came along and took a poo sac out I can only wish big things are ok Think Rose maybe on her own

I do hope things are OK. I can't remember the timing. Were they close to fledging do you think? Could there be a lone chick who is yet to fledge and Dad is out there looking after the others I'll have to go back and refresh my memory
