My regular wren visitor to the garden has started picking up material for a nest Maybe one of many he builds he uses my vacant side view box now that would be something to dream for

Well, I saw visits from Rose to shed box this morning and time spent inside hoping a possible egg in situ. Tonight Ruby was busy nesting and staying in for much longer periods in between I think she is on the last stage of preparing a cozy nest cup, it’s close to being ready for a possible egg there in the morning or Wednesday Romeo was close by a couple of times this evening 😊

All quiet here so far today, I was only here this afternoon. I think they are out on an Easter egg hunt today🤔😊 Just waiting for Ruby to appear at the box as she has done the last 3 evenings, I’m expecting to see wool and feathers 🤞🏻😊☘️ Ruby is busy again still bringing in dry moss

Well I’ve been watching it seems Romeo went to the shed box for Rose to give her breakfast. I’m presuming she has egg/eggs she is going in there for short periods, no clue how many eggs.maybe one or 3 as there has been short visits over a few days I’m puzzled with the first box it has a completed nest and I still see a single visit to the box This morning both blue tits were there and a visit inside by one The mystery goes on, I’m in all day today so hoping to see what the day brings😊
Hoping to see visits to the triangle box in the day soon all the activity has been nest building in the evening. At the end of the day I will be more than happy with a successful nest.😊

I know your frustration Ann, it is so difficult to guess what is going on in these boxes without visuals inside. However, I would accept that frustration now for the lack of any interest at all. Really happy that you have so much going on as you truly deserve it. Sue

Sue, I’ve become very laid back about not having camera box used, I have got too frustrated in the past over the disappointment, life is to short and accept what I get now or not get 😊 it is a guessing game but at some point I will know the stage they are out 🤔

Well it seems like the 1st log box is back in use many single visits by male and busy with both entering the box is it Romeo with Ruby they both seem busy in and out 🤔 let’s see if Ruby comes to the triangle box tonight there is definitely only 3 blue tits

No nest building from Ruby this evening, I watched until 20:15 to see if she went in to roost. I have a hopeful feeling she may of turned in early. Let’s see what tomorrow brings and any activity in the day.she has been all evening visits 🤞🏻☘️

We have been blessed with glorious weather for Easter, I’m sure like me you have all been out and about. I have only observed that the shed box has Rose, popping in over the day also this evening I was sat enjoying my peaceful garden and noticed Romeo take her a treat and she flew out after him and headed for the trees for their leg over and hopefully another egg tomorrow. He watched from the trees to make sure she was safely back in the box. I have no idea how many there are but my estimate being at least 4 /7 by tomorrow. I can only watch and see if she stays in longer during the day over the next days and Romeo brings her meals As for the other two boxes nothing at all only an occasional visit to the first log box by Romeo and Ruby outside the box An awful lot of hard work indeed to build and leave I have one active box which I’m very happy about So hope to post on updates of any progress

Have things progressed any Ann? Presuming Rose is near to incubation time . So strange as you say that so much work goes in to building and then they seem reluctant to commit to the actual parenting bit. I am hoping you have more updates on Ruby and Romeo and your other box and hoping it’s all good news and they are just making you wait a while. Sue

Rose is incubating the last few days, she pops out for a break.I’ve not seen Ruby since the triangle box had been abandoned Log box also abandoned Then this morning out of the blue I saw Romeo came to visit them and followed by Ruby to triangle box. I’m home today so I will be watching for any further activity I’m hoping to get pictures of visits to shed box but timing is tricky Romeo is living up to his name while Rose is sitting

Early this morning all was quiet and within an hour activity picked up chicks have hatched I’ve been out all morning to come back to Romeo and rose in and out feeding their new family. Now I’m home to get some pictures I will hope to post later on 😊I’m very happy. My son has a new home, a log box was put in position in the autumn he now has blue tits and I think she is at the incubation time now 😊
