Oh no, that’s so sad Karen, you are like me, I get really upset and have to hold back the tears. I hope your regulars are safe and return to you this evening xx

Hi Amanda, No luck yet. I stopped putting the camera in overnight as it was a bit of a pain (had to charge the battery every day), but I have left the box out with the food and am checking every now and then. Untouched so far, but that does remind me that I haven't checked for a couple of days! Worth a go, anyway - surprised we don't have any to be honest. My next door neighbour did say that she saw one in her front garden last year.. Ahhhh, that’s a shame Matt, maybe try in a different place. I have become a bit obsessed with building hedgehog houses.... (I’m trying to catch up with Paul) I built a different feeding box yesterday, I used those circular drill bits, the ones for putting spot lights in the ceiling, for the entrance. I’m trying to make it catproof! I’m waiting for the paint to dry, hopefully I will be ready for tonight. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a visitor in your house other than cats! 🦔

I don’t want to leave it with no food

yay looks great! My little lola ame last night so I know she is ok, but still not sure about the adult one. Thank you, I became really worried the more I looked at the hole. I did confuse the poor hog as it kept going to where the door was previously. So pleased lil Lola visited you last night, you must be relieved. Fingers crossed for you with your other adult

For people who don't use twitter on here, I posted these two pictures yesterday of the size different between my little hoglet when he first arrived a month ago compared to now. You can see just how fast he's grown in such a small space of time.

Hedgehog 8 as turned up tonight, Its a tiny hoglet, I don't think this one will be ready for hibernation so it might be a weight in middle of November and take it a rescue to let it spend the winter indoors and go and pick it up again in spring.

Here's the new hoglet / 8th overall hedgehog. I'm glad the trail camera picked up just how small it is, Camera sometimes makes them look a little bigger but you can see how small he / she is. I'll post videos tomorrow but for now here's a little picture of the newbie!

Seriously beginning to think this new little hoglet is the baby one of our regular big hogs, They turn up same time eachother together and they are just really close. Its like the little hoglet always wants to be near this big one, Surely its got to be the mother? Look at this little picture of them off the trail camera its cute!
