Super glued apparently Robbie, So far she's not managed to remove anything. Funny how she is nest building in the box though with all that stuff inside and we worry about abit of poo being on the floor!  |

 I have been thinking it Elle, Or a more simple layout. I am working on a new box at the moment for next year, I might see what I can do on the inside without copying this idea. Probably be something more simple or just keep it as a normal but new box but something is in the works already that is for sure.  x

That looks awesome! I worry the camera is enough to spook them but obviously these things are not an issue for them. Would love to do something similar, just perhaps wallpaper to to make it cosy.  |

I have been looking around Matt,
It seems the smallest things for it our doll house stuff.
So would always need to be a "home" setting, I wouldn't want anything overly large.
I have ordered a few bits so far, I have months to play around with ideas and things before deciding.
With all items being so small they are really cheap so thinking of buying all different stuff and seeing what looks best and won't annoy the birds much.

I have been thinking of a theme and I keep playing with the idea of a room for a travel writer/gentlemans room say Ernest Hemmingway type room.  Gonna have a shop around and see what I can find!! |

She's now got another nest going on in another one of her themed boxes picture below when the live cam goes up for this I will post it. This box as little curtains and everything  |

Really haven't a clue Elle,
I think she as maybe put the shelf a little to low to the nest area to be honest.
Everything in her boxes is pretty close to the floor of the box and this is the main part of the box.
I'll see if anything becomes of this, If it doesn't lead to a nest, I will do my with little theme but have nothing hanging on walls or wall paper etc.
But something to make it abit different but not different enough to put the birds off something simple.

Elle Xx Looks like still hope for the "themed" boxes Elle, Just appears that the blue tits have done a box swap to this other themed box. I have asked the woman if she can put live cam up and she said she's on it, So hopefully have the live cam on this new themed box soon.  |

It is looking good Paul, I must say I was a bit sceptical after she left the other, but I suppose she’s only doing what a lot of the bluetits do on the forum, (half build, then change)!

OMG, never thought i’d see the like. Hope everything is safe for little chicks to peck at! If I did one I think it would be just foliage painted on the walls to make it as natural as possible and safe. Very clever though.
