Been a strange year Phil, I have had a female blue tit bringing nest material in one of my boxes since August she roosts everynight and keeps it clean. The last 2 days all my boxes are getting visits from blue tits, So alot activity I think they want roost places now. Your video looks like a little blue tit at the hole to me but I could be wrong. Fingers crossed you get a little rooster!

Hmm, I'm not sure, it plays fine in both Firefox and Chrome on my machine. Do my older videos on this thread play?

You can see the entrance hole of the box in the corner of the black though Karen, I'm guessing its black due no led lights being on so can just see the hole with bird looking in. Thats how it is for me anyway.

Yes most of the frame is black, it was quite an early visit and the white LEDs hadn't switched on yet.

There was another briefer visit this morning, with some more pecking. The lights where on a little bit this time but too low to help.

It's returned a few times today, always pecking at the entrance. It's definitely a blue tit:
I wonder if this happens every year and I've just never noticed before.

Have your camera boxes had any visitors Sue? Not that I know of Paul, but only put them on from time to time. Had them on one day last week whilst I was ironing (boring), and the motion sensor alarm went off, I was so excited I nearly dropped my iron. Rushed to look at the screen only to see a daddy long legs walking around the box . Not what I wanted. Sue

The visitor has been to the box every day since, except one when the weather was awful. Today's visit is different, it's calling to another bird. Have they partnered up already?!
