Lining the cup as begun, Very COLOURFUL! (Don't know where she is finding it I haven't put it out) See video / pictures below its cold and wet this morning so rather surprised she is lining the nest!

Great videos Paul! Do you have any sheep nearby? Usually its the sheeps wool the farmers spray paint once they have determined which Ewes are pregnant.

Actually watched our female blue tit lay an egg this morning, Shes laid two so far! (nest as been complete for about 10 days)
First video you get a view of the two eggs its around 1 minute long and second video is just a 12 second video of the male feeding the female after he had laid this morning

Lovely! those nests wouldn't last 5 minutes where I am sadly, too many magpies and cats looking forward to watching these though!

I don't have much hope for the blackbird one, It never works out! But we will see.. I will also be on Spanish TV over summer regarding my wildlife / nest, I am going to ask them to send me the broadcast and I'll upload it to Youtube. That is all in the pipeline in the coming weeks so if I am more quiet then usual you know why

Superb Paul! So interesting to see nests of other birds. I didn't realize blackbird eggs were blue - I just assumed it was only Dunnock that were that colour. Keep the updates coming!

I have been holding off doing my blue tit update until she is at her final egg and incubating but just had update she laid her 10th egg this morning and covered them up. So she will be on her 11th tomorrow, Which will be a new record for me. Most i've had laid in the last 8 years on camera is 10 eggs. So i'll see tomorrow if incubating starts on 11 eggs or if she goes for 12. I'll post video / picture when she is finished laying!

Looks like incubating started this morning, 11 eggs! new record for me I know sometimes they lay another after the first day of incubation so tomorrow could be 12 i'll keep you posted! Until then here is a couple of pictures
