good morning im still feeling a bit empty this morning to be honest. SUE for your message, think you are right about them coming up to the hole for air, . i looked over the clips, it was rather upsetting to watch, they had died in the nest and both parents tossed them out. PAUL im sat watching from the bedroom window now, both parents are there not sure if food is going in im looking with my binoculars just now, ill go out and stand back and watch in a while im still hopefull they are feeding one or maybe two as there were 5 eggs that i know of in the autumn ill put a log box up in the same position.

I really hope so Ann, you’ll have to get your clever husband to fix up a fan to keep it cooler if not. Seriously, I am devastated that this has happened for you. I hope there still are one or two chicks and nothing awful happens to them. You deserve a bit of good luck for all your patience. The parents have worked so hard too. Nature is very difficult to watch sometimes. Sue

i understand how you feel now Sue, i will keep watching and outdoor camera working and see what develops, yes a fan would be perfect, he would be game to do it LOL but i think its a cooler week ahead

Maybe also dehydration Ann, unless parents getting plenty of liquid in them from live foods. So awful to watch knowing there’s nothing you can do. Will be keeping everything crossed for them Sue

I'm sorry as well to read the tragic news about all three chicks dying Ann and thanks for explaining things to Paul in an earlier message - as I thought the same as he did - 3 chicks in that photo. Anyway, although you've lost their family, at least you can still enjoy watching Jenny & Joe Wren in your garden - better next year for your camera box.
Just read the latest messages you've put on Ann, so crossed for any more s in the nest.

It's very confusing for you isn't it Ann, trying to work out what's going on? Anyway, you'll have more news tomorrow for us, so I will check in during the afternoon as we're out early morning until then.

I really wasn’t expecting to find a long period with no sign of the parents I feared the worst and going out today without knowing isn’t helpful I will be checking the clips as soon as I get in

Oh Ann I'm just catching up with the last day or two. They have such a hard time getting chicks to fledging don't they? Hopefully a couple fledged when the camera wasn't recording 🤞
