Sorry to hear of your Magpie problem Starling78. They are a right pain in the arse! We have had several Blackbird nests raided over the years and a few years ago I also witnessed one plucking Great Tit nestlings out of the entrance hole as they jumped up to fledge! Thankfully our resident pair disappeared last season after several years nesting nearby!

They have fledged! they either left late yesterday afternoon or early this morning, hopefully the latter as we had torrential rain last night, I believe my other starling box also fledged yesterday so I am now officially starlingless never mind still have the blue tits and the robin chicks yet to hatch plus sparrows and the woodpigeons are back in their nest that was predated earlier by the magpies for a second attempt! Here is a little outside of video of the starlings yesterday before they left sorry about the quality it's the best I can do on my mobile! drive.google.com/file/d/1zgjB3C54icZbi1p-p901p5tCekt5ZKJi/view?usp=sharing
