Merry Christmas everyone! Here's to a better 2022, and lot's of birdy action. I will get back on the forum more often soon - life getting in the way! I'll get my 2022 post up soon I hope, but no huge changes for me as I just haven't had the time. One new starling box - new design - and a relocated robin box are the only changes. Still working on the starling box, but hope to get it up in the next few days. Cameras are on now on the old boxes, and getting the odd visit but no roosters (I never seem to). The good news is that Tony is still about, and in fact made a couple of long visits to a box this morning!

Happy Christmas everyone! Good to hear from you two Matt and Paul. Things are starting to happen here too, the males are singing in the tree and taking a peek in the boxes and looks like there is a pair all loved up, Kate continues to roost. Hope you all have a safe healthy and peaceful 2022

Nothing much new. Started birding for the year list. Only got to about 40 as it has been cold. I had sapsucker, though, which I did not have in 2021 or 2020. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow-bellied_sapsuckerBird nest boxes won't be looked at till April. There will be enough for nesting, bluebirds are few. Recovering from 2021 spring cold snap that killed even wintering birds in the SW of the US.
