Hi All Popped my head in to say Pearl & Dean have 9 eggs. Pearl is incubating since Monday I think but my head is all over the place and I'm not exactly sure but she is in the nest all day every day now so she must be. A very hairy nest again so must be Nell from 2020. Thanks for your messages I hope all is well with you and your nests are going along fine. Have a great bank holiday. Kathy x

Thanks Everyone for your recent comments. Pleased to say that hubby is now in our Rehabilitation hospital for further recovery after being transferred from Stoke, then to Leicester, then on to the final leg near home. I have been unable to visit because of Covid which has been most upsetting & frustrating but the nurses let me speak to him on the phone. Another 3 weeks perhaps and he will be back with me. Pearls eggs are due to hatch about May 10th. Glad to see that you Matt have finally got a nest. Karen, Springtime, Sue, Beechnut, Taz, Hfriel, Elle & Sammi, Paul, Amanda and Pete, love you all! Good luck for a full house this season. Must go now.

Thanks all of you for your recent messages of support, much appreciated. Hubby is almost home perhaps within the next 10 days. He has made a very good recovery thanks to prompt medical service from the paramedics and Stoke on Trent A&E I shall be eternally grateful to these wonderful people.
My chicks are about to fledge this weekend. 1 unhatched egg and 3 died very early on, don't know why but there it is. The remaining 5 are ready for the off so I shall have to keep my eye on the ball or they will be gone before I know it. Sorry I haven't been on here much at all but I know you will understand. Bye for now Kathy

Been a slight hiccup with hubby coming home but it's a long story. Should be soon though as equipment and hospital bed arriving this week. Blue Tit chicks fledged over May Day bank holiday. Eldest one left early morning on the Saturday & the other four on the Sunday. Can hear them sometimes in the garden but well covered in our hedge! Hope you all have success with your nests, hope to be back with you next season
