Hi All Just to post that I am excited to tell you I have another nest (BT) started in this box!!! Yes, it's never been known before in my garden. Anyway I hope it doesn't fail because of the turf wars we have every year so fingers crossed! I have had my jab and was a little under the weather last few days so will catch up with all your nest news in the coming days.

Kathy, good news about the nest & hoping there are no turf wars. Sorry to hear you had side effects with your jab & hope you feel better soon. I had my first on 21 January and was absolutely fine, so hoping that it will be the same with my second this month sometime.

Another wonderful film from CheapCam!!!! We have had our first Hedgehog visit last night at 11.27pm. So our resident hog is out of hibernation great stuff! Badger and Fox are coming every evening for supper so I feel at the moment very much like Springwatch

Hi Kathy, so loving cheap cam up and running again. I love your updates and it is going to be something I will be looking forward to this year so please keep them coming. Pleased that you have so much wildlife to watch, at the moment I am having to get my fix by watching a visiting fox on the communal lawn each evening. Take care. Sue

Oh Sue that is kind of you. I always think they are all rubbish as I have nowhere to rest my elbows when filming that's why they are shaky, but it makes a change for the forum to have different formats on it. There are some really lovely photo's and vids which put me to shame really but I like to keep my boxes Au Naturel!!! It has been very cold here snow yesterday so nests have not had the same attention as previous days but still active, so fingers crossed. We are seeing Badger and Fox visits every evening it's costing a fortune in food! Last year first egg laid was April 15th so I will be watching closely!
I am pleased to hear you have a communal box to watch, are there any restrictions for your own personal one, if you could have a camera again that would be lovely this new place might bring you luck?
Kathy x

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts much appreciated. My hubby is sitting up now and is talking a little so progress being made. Update on my nests - Box 1 seems to have stalled don't think she will come back, probably been ousted by the others in Box 2 box but who knows? Box 2 I think is Nell and Moss from last year by the looks of the nest structure- another hairy nest! Good news is re- named 'Pearl and Dean' have 3 eggs to date!! Will catch up when I can. Kathy x
