Pete, thanks for my daily fix of I love her to bits! Wonderful news too & clip of your GT who's also working like mad, so I hope you get a successful outcome there. Yesterday my robin was sitting about 3 feet away from me whilst I was weeding, head to one side dropping hints! Because of the fact that I can't stand for too long & didn't want to make any sudden movements, I put the worms I had in the container, then popped it to one side of me & left slowly in the other direction. He took them all eventually while I watched from my swing seat.

Pete, thanks again for my daily fix of and the other clip too - it looks like the GT has found a good source of moss. I know where it got it from - our lawn which is no longer grass but half moss! Gerry can't do the lawn anymore & I can't either, so will be looking for a local handyman to sort it for us.
I'm late checking in today because it's lovely so I did a repeat of what I did yesterday & so did my lovely robin, so we're both happy!

Oh Pete we were lucky enough to have Robins nesting in our house wall many years ago, we were doing some drainage in the garden and also we had taken a vent out in the wall and before we had time to put a new one in, the female had moved in. Every single day she hopped all the way along the fence from one end to the other, could never understand why she didn’t just fly straight to the hole, she was such a character, I think she had about 5 babies and when the workmen came to shift all the soil which had been dug out for the underground drainage they happen to be fledging so we put the workmen off and when we told them why they couldn’t continue for a couple of days they all laughed thinking we were joking! We paid them for the days they didn’t work, and then when the Robins had left garden we called them back to finish the job. We since put a box up just above the spot, but to no avail. Our Robins nested about July time though, not this early, but I don’t really know much about their nesting habits.
Good luck though Pete, they’r fantastic little birds
ELLE Xx
