I've heard about Rats eating birds eggs but not mice, I wouldn't know though never seen it happen. You'll have to see if it comes back Pete, I think it would of probably done the damage lastnight if it was going to though! Lovely videos by the way

Cheers Paul, the seed that falls from the feeder seems to keep the mice busy for food, hopefully he was just on a walkabout.

Nice vids Pete - proper interest from the great tit, and I'm guessing that's a male BT with female outside (shadows went a few times)? A bit of competition never hurt! Might be time to think about putting another BT specific box up next year?

Cheers Matt, i did put a box another box one year with a 28mm hole and left it up for a couple of years although BT's did get interested and also started building nests the GT's kept chasing them and also managing to squeeze inside there box hence the BT's anbandoning the nest building i think they were to close together so i gave in the end. I'm very limited to were i can put a second nest box in my garden so i'll stick to the one GT/BT box and one robin box. The female GT has been roosting all through winter so i think its gonna be GT's again this year, yes that is a male BT doing his thing.

Some vids from today, funny, she's been on the nest for most of the day with a few breaks but still leaves the nest to roost somewhere else, she done that from day one of egg laying but today was the longest time spent on the nest.

It’s lovely to see them Peter like Paul says best nest for the season. I watch the pr of robins about my garden they have a nest in an ivy bush same place every every year. she pops out for food from my feeder and back to nest, I can look at your robins and see exactly what’s going on in their nest over the fence The nest is just along the boundary fence to my garden

This nest gets my vote for the birdy Oscar's if there was such a thing. My robins are nesting in the thick ivy above the box with a camera on it but I see them regularly when it's mealworm time

Glad everyone is enjoying the vids, there'll be another episode of ROBINATION ST tomorrow. Pete, I've just come in for my daily fix & I think you've aptly named this thread as above! Another wonderful set of videos for all of us to enjoy so many thanks again. I put a question on another thread about my robin so will find it & perhaps you can answer it for me?
