A nice story to end 2020, I spotted a Robin sitting in the middle off the road close to my house on Wednesday, luckily he wasnt sitting in the area car tyres go but between as there was some traffic, I managed to picked him up he didnt resist at all so I knew he wasnt well. I am lucky to have a wonderful lady who rescues birds and wildlife just 5 minutes walk from my house, I phoned and she said bring him up, she said he was probably stunned from a car and she took him in, after 24 hours he was fine and she released him, and put a BTO ring on him before doing so. I am so pleased for this little guy, he would surely have been knocked and killed if left much longer. So I am on the look out in case he calls at the garden feeders, be great to see him in the neighbourhood. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL

Karen, wonderful as you say, a robin saved thanks to you & your friend! I hope he starts visiting your garden too as that would be a lovely reward for you.
