Paul, has little Peacock managed to get rid of that white tie thing which was in her nest in your video clip yet? They are really deadly when birds & frogs get caught in them. She is definitely working very hard I must say! Like the others I was wondering where Elle & GBH had got to, so hopefully they'll check in soon.

It wasn't a tie this Diane, It was nest material which she is forever getting stuck around her neck because its bald! You'll see this in most the videos it does come off in the end

Thank you Elle, Really sweet of you to say! Glad you and the family are all doing well Yes I am impressed with the new IP camera, Its currently got no led light on aswell just natural light from the window. I'll switch the led light on during her sitting on eggs when the tree is in full leaf see if it makes it better.

Lovely nest coming on there Paul. What are they stripping those lovely curly long pieces from? I know in my garden they were stripping long bits off the clematis trunks. I love catching glimpses of them collecting bits from the garden. The sparrow chooses different stuff as his base I've noticed. He chose fine bits of branches complete with new leaves. Maybe helpful if nesting in a hedge?

She's getting the straw from under a bush in the garden Sammi, She seems to really like it! She's been at abit of a standstill for the last few days due to the wind and rain just bringing the odd pieces of moss in she is still very active in sorting out her nest though! This is her before, You can see how she is weaving the moss into the straw now shes been doing this for two days now spends 10 minutes at a time in the box just sorting the material.

I think our second blue tit female is about to pick Matt's stone box , Shes been in and out of this box all day today! Cleaning the poo from the male rooster and doing some nest wriggles Here's some little clips, Isn't the best of quality filming it off the telly as it happens on my iphone etc but yes, i'll keep you all posted on this looking very promising though! I wouldn't be surprised to see the first material off this second female in the next few days

Exciting, Paul! Fingers crossed she goes for it, would be great to see three little heads poking out of those holes! That's quite a lot of poo that has accumulated in there..

Should of seen it before she started cleaning Matt, You couldn't see the stone floor that looks spotless compared! Haven't cleaned it out myself for a while so the poo really built up but she's been flat out today bless her! This box is on the house wall which faces the tree box where my first female is well into building funny thing is today she was nest building while her male was showing this female the stone box literally right infront of her He was going back and forth was both boxes to see both females, He roosts in the stone box you see. But with all the active today from her i'll be very surprised after taking the levels of poo out she has if she didn't pick it be a waste of her time!

He sounds a right casanova that one Paul. Sounds like he's building up his harem I hope Matt's stone box gets some nesters. Seeing those little heads poking out is a treat.

Paul, thanks for the clip & piccie & I'm very pleased that it does look more or less certain that your second female will build her nest & eventually have some chicks - to her.

Peacock's nest is near complete in terms of straw / moss, I think she will be bringing soft material in over the next couple of days.
