6 out of 8 of mine fledged today, 2 are still in the box getting fed by mum and dad.
I am guessing they will leave later or tomorrow!

All 8 chicks fledged successfully, Here is some pictures of the final 2! Sorry I haven't been that active this season, I just honestly haven't got the time I have had past years. I'll try and pop in and see how others nests are going on but I probably won't be that active during summer like I always am! So good luck anyone whos still got an active nest, If any other nests in garden show up (robins wren sparrows) i'll update when I can.    |

Beautiful beautiful pictures Paul, and fantastic that fledging went well. What colour bracelets did they get this year Paul ? So want you to have one of your own back to nest with you Paul - wouldnât that be brilliant. One year it will happen.

Dead purple this year Sue, I used purple a few years back (2016) but this purple is alot darker
Once they start coming the feeders i'll try and get some nice shots of them still using the mealworms at the moment

Robins are back building in the ivy!  I am not 100% sure where about BUT i think she is refreshing her old nest in the box that was successful Of course when I turned the camera on facing the box all activity stopped  But I did see her twice today while in the garden flying into the ivy with moss so I know she is back just not 100% sure if its the same box keep you posted when I can.

Little video of her refreshing up the nest shes been in and out all day you can see how thick the nest is looking what a lovely surprise that shes back for another brood in the same box  nice little clip of her sitting on the ivy by the box near the end of the video after her nest wriggles and fixing material Expecting eggs to be laid this weekend or next week shes been a busy girl today |

Yes, we'll all miss your past regular posts but your job must come first of course & you do need time to yourself for your family
