Hi everyone who is about. There is someone at the BTO asking for old nests to analyse the amount of chemicals in the hair etc used in nest building. I am sending some (robin, dunnock and bluetit) It seems interesting. As it is about now we clean out our nestboxes I thought I'd post it on here in case anyone can send nests in. Hoping you are all well. I've no sign of roosters yet and I'm hoping the drastic clearance in the garden that we had to do to repair fences hasn't put the birds off🤞😮

Hi Paul, I checked how I heard about it and it was an email that I assume was sent to all those registered with the Nesting Neighbours scheme. There wasn't a link as such. Hope this helps🙂

Hi I've asked them if I can forward on the letter and form I have but I can't seem to do it on here so I think I'd need to email it to anyone who wants it. It has all the information needed on it.
