Hilarious Paul - that's put you in your place ! I'm sure he wouldn't take the hump if he realised it was you being so kind providing food for him. Sammi, so sorry you have no luck yet with your s - but it's still early so don't give up hope.

Thanks again Paul for the clip & photo of this titchy at least he'll survive the Winter when you take him to rescue. Erm .... will you be able to take him though, seeing as your area is possibly going to get further restrictions? I really hate all the bad news everyday, so only watch it once a day at lunchtime.

Oh its a nightmare Diane! I would be allowed to drop off at the rescue though just face mask and social distancing etc. Rescue told me to let him have chance to grow over the coming weeks so he might be fine yet fingers crossed

Awww, such a titch! How many hogs have you got visiting Paul? I have had one sleeping in the house during the day, which is early compared to last year. I’m not sure how many I have, I don’t know if they are the same or not! Has your area just gone in to extra lockdown restrictions? Cheshire East has gone on to the watch list. I’m still working for T&T, I have just move over to the Isolation Team, and it is none stop, back to back call for 8 hours.....my cheeks and face really aches by the end of the day!!

We have 5 coming at the moment Amanda, All feeding stations are near empty by the morning. I also have a male who started hibernating in my new riverside house around 4 days ago, I thought was abit too early but rescue have said the males normally go down early (he will come out now and again to top up on food) the house is packed with hay no space for more to even be added haha I guess he liked it because hes picked it for hibernation. So makes sense why you have sleepers already if its a male it won't be far off hibernation. Yes Liverpool have more strict lockdown rules now, Sadly nobody here is listening and carry on doing what they like when they like so I am not even shocked by the rising numbers. The rules are just confusing so I can't even say I blame them to be honest, You can't have family over your house but you can go and have a meal with them in a restaurant what the f**k is that about? But now its you can't have them your house or garden or go pubs or restaurants with them but go and meet them outdoors or go and see them outside in the pub garden Just bloody lock us down fully so people know what is going on the mixed messages is shocking!

I know, it’s a nightmare isn’t it! I have finished my last hedgehog house now, still waiting for my replacement camera, it got delayed as I had the hedgehog sleeping in the house and couldn’t get the camera out. You had loads visiting last year around late October / early November....so I’m sure will be rocking up soon!

Hi Amanda, I'm so sorry your face & cheeks ache so much after spending all that time on the phone Hi Paul, as you say they keep messing about with all the rules, but what makes it worse is that woman who took the virus to London & back to Scotland on the train! No wonder people break the rules when the flipping MP's break them - another case of "do what I say & I'll do what I want". She should be sacked, not given the option of resigning & I hope she pays the fine just as others have had to!

Our hibernating hedgehogs got a security guard, Been feeding this stray cat for a few months and its started sleeping down the unused entry way in the extra straw I put out for the hedgehog. The hogs been hibernating for over a week now, Cats been sleeping there for a few nights now. I have been feeding it for about 3 months, Poor thing was so skinny now its going through 3 pouches of cat meat and a plate of biscuits a day. Honestly can't see an animal go hungry poor thing!

Oh Paul .... I had to laugh at this "security guard" message. We all know how you care for all creatures, even cats that I despise, so you are definitely the kindest person I know for feeding starving anything. One thing in the cat's favour though, is that he's not charging you as much as a human security guard would!

Awww, how gorgeous Can I see your houses behind the feeding area Paul? I have moved my feeding house away from my sleeping houses so I hope I get the hogs to use the houses over winter.

Yes Amanda, I have 2 houses by my feeders. These are for ones who fancy a nap in between meals, Not for hibernation.

Another hoglett showed up lastnight, It ate food outside the feeder (stuff I put out for the stray cats) and then come inside one of the feeders for a nose about. It looks a tiny bit bigger than my regular one, I am guessing its part of the same family though.

Paul I'm loving seeing all your footage of these lovely hogs. They have certainly given us all a lift after the nesting season. Talking of which I've had a couple of head pokes in the lovely side view box which is now in the prime location, that is in the same spot they nested last year, so I've got everything crossed.🤞

This one is my favourite Paul as he's so titchy & cute. I saw the clip of him on Twitter & also the clip of the other one who didn't eat anything - the one Rescue told you to keep an eye on. Has he started eating yet do you know?
Sammi - for you as well.
