What a surprise to see this feller over the fence in the school field, I was just hoping to see some hog activity, as I have had no visits for a while, anyway I saw one hog foraging in the field so hopefully he will come to the cafe soon.

Thanks Paul, I did actually, I have some fox/badger food that I chuck over very occasionally, think he must have smelt it to bring him there but perhaps was too skittish to approach, but it was a lovely surprise to see him. Will see if he comes tonight. On the hog front there was one on camera at around midnight nibbling on the fox food, so they are around, well one is at least!

Thanks yorksherlass, I came home from work lastnight at 10pm and there was a hog in the front garden, I didnt notice him at first until he scurried over the lawn, I came back out with some fresh spikes semi moist and scattered them on the lawn for him, then sat waited inside, he came out from his hiding place and spent some time having a good fill. He would be one of this years young from the first litters I think as he wasnt small but not big. It was wonderful to see a hog in the garden after so long

So pleased for you Karen I am glad you've had one in the garden again, All mine come my front garden. I don't have access to the back garden due to the ponds and stuff very unsafe for them sadly, Probably would get lots if I did because at back of mine is a total waste land full of trees and bushes and long grass perfect for them. But all my little guys are in my front might be worth you doing a little feeder in the front now best of both worlds for you back and front!

Yeah it great to see one visit, I think he came in from the back as I caught one on the trail cam 10 minutes before, I do have a feeder in the front which they were using regularly until they disappeared, so I hope he comes again, as he polished off the food that was in the feeder.

Well I have just got back from a short break and it looks as though I have had a regular hog visitor, I have had to clean out one of the hotels as it has been having a right old party by the looks of things, also the food all but gone so I wonder if this is the little one that I have seen or another, I will put the camera on tonight to see who shows up

Here he/she is the little reveller, no curfews apply to this one, arrived at 10.45 and stayed all night sleeping and eating, I have have a feeling it may have gone to sleep for the day too. Just a teeny thing, but looks healthy and is eating well.

Gorgeous photo of Little Billie & he has settled in nicely, so in respect of "your" hogs - he has become my favourite now. (I have a favourite in Paul's hogs too.)
