Thanks GBH, Sue, Paul & Brian for your comments. It took ages to sift through all my clips and then work out how to do it! Going to put it on a DVD disc so friends and family can have a look when I get to see them of course!I think my Cheapcam clicks will be excused -just cannot get rid of them I think it is the on/off switch which the mic is picking up on. Anyways I am famous for them now just like Scotty in Holyoaks!!!!! Interesting point to make here is that Moss did not like having the trail cam so close to the box, he attacked it many times so I had to remove it. Shows you that they have some memory of what is around the box when they choose it. With hindsight I should have bought one and installed it prior to nesting but always wiser after the event.

Such a lovely thing to have as a reminder of your nest. It must have taken ages I've just been trying to convert the camcorder footage to something usable and it's such a long job. But then our equipment is fairly old....well that's my excuse. Thankyou so much for sharing. I doubt my project will end up looking so professional

Cannot believe what greeted me this morning from last nights trail cam footage, yes a Badger! I am about 1/4 mile from farmland both directions. Mr Brock has come to eat my fallen apples. Now I know who it is I shall put out some peanuts and jam sandwiches! Soo excited!!! Trail cam worth the price just for this.

P.s just to say, I have read not to put out nuts of any kind in a wild life garden, unless you can ensure that Hedgehogs cannot reach them...apparently, they can get stuck in the roof of their little mouths, bacteria can build up and may cause terrible sores, sickness, and may lead to eventual death! (That goes for seeds too apparently)

Lovely capture Kathy, You must be really pleased! You should start feeding it, You'll have a gang in the garden before you know it!
You might be interested in this twitter, She is able to hand feed them and everything, Come to her door everynight for food she posts videos all the time.

Thanks GBH for that info but don't think we have Hedgehogs. Peanuts or Brazil nuts & fruit with Peanut butter seems to be the norm on internet advice. Want to do the right thing so I have sourced some specially prepared badger food from Amazon. I have some oldish fruit in the fridge so will use this first. I saw the peanut feeding on Springwatch last year, so thought as I have some might as well use it but I take your point. Let you know if we see it tonight!

Paul to say I am chuffed is an understatement! I have enlarged the photo and see that it is a sow not a boar as I first thought, I also have some idea where the sett is. Like GBH says it might have had cubs following but we shall wait and see as they have to cross a busy road, perhaps not so busy at the moment but.... This video is unbelievable I am not a fan of taming wild animals unless they cannot go back to the wild but each to their own, however, they are so trusting of humans but if they know how their species has been trated in the past they wouldn't want anything to do with us!

Isn't it amazing the things that happen in our gardens during the night though, Without cameras you wouldn't even know was happening.

Badger's visit last night. I put out Grapes, Plums and shelled peanuts and it took him/her 3 mins to eat it all. Is Badger scent marking ,peeing or has a slight limp? Interested to hear opinions. I suspect it is the same badger from the other night as I can see teats I think in the last clip as it walks off down our drive.
