Ha ha, thanks GBH, just having a moan as so frustrated. Waited so long to witness a nest being built etc and hoping my chances are not going out the window. Good luck to you, so pleased for you. Sue

Sooo bloody frustrating. Come on birds....throw us a friggin bone here!!!

for the flowers GBH lol. You are definitely not a moaner , far from it you have been so resilient you deserve a medal, and I am so pleased that it looks like this is to be your year. Just would love us all to get a nest this year, to give us all a much needed boost. A moaning old Sue

Don't worry Sue. The weather has changed and there are chilly East winds coming in today. The birds would have known this yesterday and so slow down. Mine have not visited today.

My birds have stalled too so don't worry. I was saying to hubby my screen looks like those shots if the CCTV system when the villains have gone in and messed about with the system and are just showing a library image of no activity. 🤣🤣

Sorry Ann, didn’t see your post. Not much Ann BUT, the cleaner turned up again this morning and I actually had a nest wriggle . Might mean nothing but at least it’s positive and she’s still around. Watch this space. Sue

) Well, this has me beyond excited. Last night before my rooster appeared, I had a visit from this pair of blue tits (photos in wrong order I fear, seems to have changed on post images and confused me - not difficult), the male fed the female a tit bit. He disappeared and then she followed shortly after. My rooster came as normal. This morning ( a landmark birthday) feeling a bit low as unable to see family or friends etc, I turned on to see material in beak of female followed a while later by a nest wriggle. No more material has arrived but this has given me great hope. This has made my day really special, and I hope it means this pair will go on and start building soon. A very happy bunny today. Sue w

Thanks Pete, Paul, GBH, Amanda, Ann and all. Really excited and made my day. Had couple of visits since but no more material, am telling myself they are just biding their time - hopefully. Still, it has brightened my day a lot and given me great hope. Tells us all there is still time yet . Having a Skype virtual party with family later so no doubt they will be fed up with my birdie revelations - thank goodness for you wonderful understanding folk on here. Ann, sort of thing my husband does. Seriously, the other day he wanted to paint side of the bungalow where this bird box is - you can imagine what I told him........... I really hope this coming week brings more people on here to get beginnings of nests to cheer us all up. Sue

Yeah...I remember my frustration back at the old house when I'd get a glimmer of hope....it was like:
"Oh look there is a bird - 1st one I've seen this year" and himself, "yeah, thats great!!!....now, where did I put my kango hammer, just want to knock a wall for no real reason"...lol!!!!
