Great news Amanda. I am so looking forward to this Spring. I hope you get one of each Blue and Great. That is my dream but I don't think it will happen this season for me.

I hope she is okay Amanda and nothings happened to her You seen any activity off the GT's in your box through the day? Keep us posted! Hi Paul, she was last seen just gone 1015 this morning. The activity during the day has been quiet in the box but they are around in the garden. I have been at work, so not seen them today. I am off tomorrow so will be watching out for both of them. Fingers crossed I will see them both Yesterday a great tit poked its head in the garage bird box. On a positive note, my little blue tit rooster is in for a 2nd night

It’s a quiet day here today, the weather is nice too! My birds haven’t brought in any material yet!
I have lots of time to watch the birds now.......my daughter was sent home yesterday afternoon with a cough, along with others in her class, she has had it for over a week, a bit chesty, not dry. Anyway, that has triggered a 14 days self isolation period for us......so no school, no work and no pay other that SSP. It looks as though my daughters school is going to close on Friday anyway, the pre school in the same grounds closed this morning.

Sorry to hear your daughter is poorly Amanda, Wishing her a speedy recovery! Sliver lining to you being off two weeks is most of the activity will happen over the next 2 weeks.

Thanks Paul She isn’t poorly, far from it! But because she has a cough, she has been sent home and we have been told to self isolate as she is possibly showing symptoms. She is full of beans!! Yes it is a silver lining...... I just wish the birds would bloody do something!

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if your birds start building whilst you are forced to self isolate and able to watch. Silver lining for sure. Get well to your daughter and stay safe and well the rest on here. Sue

Oh!!! hope it will all end up being okay for your daughter...
Nice to be home all the same in 'forced relaxation'...couldn't be better timed in relation to nest boxes...you are going to get to see loads of activity.

Thank you for you kind wishes, my daughter is absolutely fine, not ill whatsoever, she was sent home because she had a cough, school protocol during this unprecedented time.
The weather is gloomy this morning, yet I have had some activity. The blue tits have been in both the garage and tree boxes. They have been showing particular interest in the tree box, doing wriggles and taking poo out! The female great tit has also been in the tree box. No material in any boxes though 🙄
