Brilliant videos Amanda. Great that they fledged successfully. Mine are due to leave this week.

Here is the outside of the box, number 2 took a bit of a nose dive. I hope they are alright. Daddy has been back to the box with caterpillars since the birds have fledged. He had done an amazing job with them and he does look a bit ragged now. Unfortunately, I was working so wasn’t able to able to see them fly in the garden

Lovely to see both inside and outside as they fledge. Only saw one of ours from the outside and that had an upsetting end. Magpie. They were nesting in non cam box so only could see from outside cam. Could hear all the twittering. And parents back and forth with food. They didn't mind I was sitting watching them. Ive only got up two cam boxes now to see if any will visit.

Oh thats terrible Twinkle....imagine - all that care and nurturing, only to fall into the clutches of a magpie on its first outing.
Life is cruel.
Do the magpies actually eat the birds????? Or is it like a cat where its just pure devilment?

I was quite surprised when I saw it. It’s not Mr and Mrs Great Tit who rooster 2019/2020. Lasts night was the first night, so it will be interesting to see if it comes back tonight

This is incredible Amanda. Hope I don’t get a male rooster this early, as box will be totally filled to the brim with poo judging by this year

Hi Amanda...
I see you removed all this seasons nesting material already.
I still have my nesting material in both boxes and just wondering when the right time is for cleaning them out...is it always done in late May/June?
