Thank you everyone, Poor little bird looks bored out of her mind she's only been incubating since this morning!  Male is bringing her alot of food though, So I think he will be a good dad. Here's a little picture just for you Sue and GBH of our feather head!   This is my second blue tit nest, This is the box I am convinced got two females building in one box, 1 takes it all out one brings it all in. Last few days though its been kept in, Has you can see no real rush to get this nest finished. Weird isn't it? I have one incubating over the back garden and one who's nest isn't near complete over the front.  |

My two blue tit girls asleep for the night, Still find it crazy how one is incubating and one still hasn't finished the nest!  Going to be a big gap between fledging of the chicks in these two boxes! Anywhere here they are all tucked up for the night..   |

Small video of our second female building today, She's been none stop this morning. Meet little Ditzy (named because she is SLOW!) so Dolly & Ditzy It looks like the 3rd female "Marilyn" as stopped building and give up so not going to get a super brood  But still two blue tit nests so I shouldn't complain! Ah thats great. Hopefully Ditzy will catch up with the rest of the boxes and get a move on.
Lovely seeing the Bluetits in action though - Makes me miss my little Beaktrix all the more - I wonder what every happened to her???

The way she is building today I think she could be finished and start laying by the end of the weekend.
Never seen a bird so busy, She is back every few minutes with moss or straw!

Beyond happy this morning guys, Its my birthday next week (big 30 getting old haha!) anyway gardenature always send me something free around my birthday. The other day I noticed one of their flat roof boxes that was being used for the IP camera was really light wood not the usual brown, It made the bird stand out. So anyway I found out it was the RSPB version of the box because gardenature make all the boxes for RSPB standard or camera. So I asked them if they could send me one and of course I'd pay for it but the owner was like no we will send you it for free anyway today look what I have A FULL IP POE HD CAMERA KIT AHHHHHH  which means I'll have HD videos next year and I'll be able to live stream (might need your help Amanda! ) I honestly can't wait to use this kit, I am going to paint the box purple and put it where the tree box is that is used every year its same style box etc.  |

Thanks everyone for the comments regarding the IP nest box, I cant wait to use it! Ditzy's been lining her box all morning with hair, feathers and wool. Hard to believe this nest was only half built yesterday morning!  |

Is your Poe camera green? You have everything you need to get going. No black Amanda, This is the gardenature one. gardenature.co.uk/product/nest-box-ip-camera-kit-1080phahaha that made me laugh! They send me stuff free due to the promotion I have give them on twitter over the years really, I have a very good relationship with the owners, Isn't just due to birthday spent HUNDREDS with them over the years, Only been recently I get really good discounts or free items. I'm extremely grateful though of course, I don't expect nothing for free, I just share my videos and rate their boxes highly because they are great boxes. Hope all this is over for your 50th though in july!  |
