Little video update from our "front box" I'll post small videos from all my boxes over the next week, The blue tit nest in the purple tree box is near complete. She's bringing in wool at the moment, Sparrow nest also isn't far off being complete. Its only this front one that truly "nest building" at the moment
Just seen your comment Sammi, No sign of the ring birds over last 2 weeks no sadly.

Visits very infrequent over past few days. Just hope they havent given up. Sue Same here Sue - no visits for 4 days now to any box. It seems to be similar for a lot of us on here, so I can't imagine that they have all abandoned us all over the country. Perhaps it is just this cold snap? Hopefully things will kick into gear for all of us in the next week! Crunch time! Paul - Looking good!

Great videos Paul, no interest in your sideview boxes?

Yes Benn, 2 of my side view boxes being checked out daily, Often just by the male though. So don't really post updates from them unless I see material being brought in. Has you know visits from a male mean nothing at all he's probably just keeping an eye on the boxes in the area he owns. But if more stronger visits become with a female and some material I'll post straight away.

If the male is trying to get a female into the box then its a different story GBH, But if hes just having a nose around himself will most likely lead to nothing. My male always does that every year, He will have females building then still do the "rounds" to all my empty boxes over April, This behaviour normally stops when eggs start hatching and he's busy elsewhere.

Little clip of where "Dolly" is up to with nest building, Currently got the nest lined up. Not much more for her to do, That ginger fur is actually fox fur, We have large fox family on the waste land at the back of mine always see fur over the bushes they have rubbed against.
