And...for some reason, I totally missed the above post about you being on Hollyoaks! It literally did not show up until I posted my other comment...that happens to me alot. I must remember to back out and go back in again.
So you were a star before! And Spring watch wasn't your big break after all...

Oh my gosh, that is tragic to hear about your Auntie, so sorry Paul. I believe our life experiences make us the people we are today and although I dont know you personally I do know you are a kind thoughtful human being and I am sure your Auntie would be so proud of you. Are you involved in any amateur dramatics locally?

I think something happened to him sadly GBH, I found it weird how he suddenly just fully stopped feeding the BT's chicks after 4 days, So it would make sense that something happened.
I wouldn't say I was a "star" I had some small roles but my acting did step me up for a good start in life money wise.
Karen,
No, I literally stopped everything regarding acting. I am thinking about getting back into it next year, Maybe just west end stuff to start with, I am still in contact with my agent from when I was in my teens. I like doing west ending acting more because I sing aswell, So singing and acting together is something I love.

Paul, we always knew you were a star, we just didn’t know how big a one. The tragedy of your Aunty must have hit you really hard and I can understand you stopping everything for a while, but if you now feel ready you should grab your chances. Life is for living, and trust me it goes by really quickly. If you feel you would now like to get back into some sort of show biz then speak to that agent, see if it can happen. Don’t have regrets about not having tried again. Your Aunty would be proud of the man you’ve become and would not want you to put any more of your life on hold. Go for it Paul if that’s what you would like to do. Sue

Paul, I see you didn't need the exposure on TV as you are a star already. Sorry to hear about your Aunt. Keep up the good work.

You are only 30 Paul and you’ve had more life experiences than some of us who are twice your age.

Paul....I recall you talking about your Aunt on the other forum.
That was such a tragic thing to happen - it is totally understandable that it would take a long time to come to terms with it and resume a 'new normal' after something like that happening. You'd never be the same again.
But you are here now, and you are only 30 - get onto that stage and do what you love!!!

Great video Paul. I must set up my trail camera in the garden to see if my hedgehog is still there. Between your birds and animals it must cost you a small fortune to feed them all.

Wow, lot's to catch up on here Paul! I did watch Spring Watch, brilliant to get your footage on at all, like others have said they probably have so much material they need to cram into a show so they can't spend too long on any one thing. I never would have guess you were an actor Paul - make sure you remember us if you hit the big time (again)!

Your picture of Hedges is fabulous seeing a hedgehog in my garden is my next challenge! Wildlife presenter for you I think? What was your stage name as I don't think I have seen Hollyoaks, aimed for the younger audience no doubt. The west end productions are more in my line. As Sue says take it up again as life is too short but by all accounts it is a precarious form of employment some times your face fits other times it doesn't!You are still handsome Paul it's only when you get to 60 you need to worry!!

Yes hollyoaks is a younger kinda show Kathy you aren't wrong, I didn't have a "stage name" as such for it because I wasn't ever a main character. Basically back story was, I left school and started acting in LIPA which is founded by Paul mccartney from the beatles. After few months I got an agent through LIPA and I did all my actor headshots etc, After 3 days of being on his books I got the call for hollyoaks.
Originally it was meant to just be 1 scene in 1 ep but a "walk on 2" role which meant I was feature more and spoke abit, So I was over moon with that because I had never done TV acting at time. So I went met everyone and done the scene only had 2 lines then the producer pulled me aside after I finished and said will you come in tomorrow because we want to feature you in a few more eps.
So phoned my agent asked if he is okay with me doing more which he was he was getting 15% of my earnings so went back next day met everyone I was going to be working with and got a script where they had penciled me into a few scenes with the younger guy who played the police mans brother.
In the scenes I was referred to as "Ell" a few times which could of stood for Elliott or Ellis, I ended up doing over 20 scenes and featured in 10 eps over the 12 weeks. After that I got into few musicals LIPA wanted to push me down that lane because I could sing aswell, At first I wasn't at all interested in musicals after doing TV work. However once doing my first musical I preferred it it was all live and just so much easier than TV. Sometimes on Hollyoaks I was filming until 3am in the morning after being in from 9am it was freezing we had to redo our scenes over and over until they found it "perfect" so when I did musicals I thought no I prefer this!!
Then everything happened with my Auntie, I was turning down jobs, Hollyoaks wanted me back on a bigger scale I think it was something like over 100 scenes over the 6 months give me a back story give me full name and I turned it down which I do regret but I wasn't in the right place anything that was coming in I just turned down I didn't care about the pay I didn't care about anything I was in such a shit place that acting was way down on my list!
But yes my 3 month hollyoaks role wasn't anything massive Kathy but it was certainly my foot in the door at the time and give me a taste of it plus I didn't realise how much money actors made for TV work, God knows what money the "full time" ones was paid because I was blown away with my fee for just 10 eps.
Back on topic anyway, I'll post a video of Ditzy chicks tomorrow, They are due to fledge Wednesday to Friday that is the 19 - 21 day mark!

Oh just had a nice surprise, Turned the sparrow camera on and we have an egg! I turned it off like 2 weeks ago, Looked like was no interest after my chicks was killed by another sparrow pair. Noticed a female going into the box before when i took rubbish to the bin outside so turned it on again So that is going to take my season into July now!
