But yes the Wren does take out the babies poo, Its done this 2 or 3 times now.
I didn't realise the twitter videos was better quality here is a link to both
P.s what is your twitter name? Message me and i'll follow you didn't know you was on it Helen!
Yesterday
Today
P.s Ann, Cheryl isn't into it like me, She is loving the wren feeding the blue tit chicks though. Regarding springwatch alot of people are tagging them in the tweets saying they want them to put it on the show this year, If they get in touch i'll happily let them and even do a Skype call and talk about it show it happening live etc.
I'll see if they reach out giving the views on the videos and the comments i'm sure if they are interested they will be in touch.

Great news Paul, how many have hatched now? I think along with the first bit of grass being brought in, the first egg laid, the egg hatching is my favourite.

Paul!!! This footage of the wren co-parenting with the blue tits is exceptional!! - and I'm so pleased it has happened in your nest box. It is only right that you, of anyone I know, be the one to be 'chosen' for this unique event. Your have created a wonderful platform in which to attract the various wildlife into your garden over the years and have generously offered all the advice and help you could to others, sharing your knowledge and experiences without hesitation...this is a testament your hard efforts and only right that you should be rewarded with such a wonderfully special and (I imagine) VERY rare occurrence. You and Matt worked hard to ensure the old Bigg Bird forums legacy was continued, by starting this new forum, and because of this, and along with your WildLifePaul twitter account, we and the rest of the world, have been given the opportunity to be privy to yet another amazing example of the wonders of nature which otherwise, without these efforts, would have passed unnoticed. What a privilege.... Thank you Paul for all you do.

And big news, Springwatch have been intouch, They they might be interested on having it on the show. Here's a little screenshot of there message, I have cropped my reply out due to having all my personal details in for them to get in touch with me if they decide they want to use the clip. One the videos now as 100,000 views on twitter, I really wasn't expecting this at all. Fingers crossed they use the clip guys, If they Skype call with me you better believe this forum is getting a shoutout!!!!

Oh it won't be nothing like that guys or famous, Well the little Wren might become famous! I think it will probably be just showing the clip and saying it was sent it by "Wildlife Paul" or something because thats my twitter trademark kinda thing. Or maybe little skype call to talk about the clip only be something very small, But even if its just something simple like showing my clip on springwatch i'll be extremely happy that such a big wildlife program even did that with one of my clips. I'll let you know what gets said next week when they call me, I'll know more details then. Ditzy got 6 chicks now out of 9 eggs, This seems not that exciting compared to whats been happening but yes, Wren eggs are due to hatch Wednesday so i'll be keeping an eye out on that one!! Dollys chicks are likely to fledge next weekend, Friday - Sunday that will be the 19th - 21st day normally in between them days isn't it. Sadly since my sparrow chicks was killed nothing is using the box now, I am guessing a new male took over and killed the chicks, He's had 1 female in the box but it didn't lead to nothing. I think nothing else will happen with the sparrows this year now, Hopefully next year proves less dramatic for them if I get a breeding pair again.

So wonderful your little story will be seen by so many. I have a tiny following on our local village Facebook page. Is it ok to share it on there? It would bring a smile to a few faces.🙂
