Spent today more interested in watching baby BT looking out of the hole and twittering. Still being fed in the box by parents. Hubby got out his camera (the proper one) and took pics. The sparrows are more interested in the dried mealworms which i soaked for the tits. Time to insert pics. Choosing a pic to go on here. my.pcloud.com/publink/show?code=XZKN2I7ZAqmOAM6mXCjGI46uNH9ipXKO5OJk

It's a pity we don't know how many in there. The other box has the cam in and that BT comes in at night and out in morning. It looks just s 'big' as the parent feeding them.

They always look big on camera. Last year we had 8 chicks that were abandoned a week before fledging. We took them to the rescue centre and when they got them out I was amazed how small they were, not much bigger than a large bumble bee. Ours at the moment are a 13 days old but in the box on camera , they look huge .

Update. Previous thread (somewhere) saying how i was putting birds back in box. Spent a lot of time looking at the mornings vids of the comings and goings but when it got to the most exciting part of me putting them in the box i guess the sd card ran out of space and started recording over. Haven't found any in garden so no idea what happened. Parent did come back a few times and looked in box. So now it's time to clean box.

Hi Twinkle, sounds like they fledged successfully (even though you tried putting them back in the box -it’s on Springtime’s thread (Ann)). Shame about sd card running out when you needed it. Sounds like it was a good season for you. Well done yahoo_clap Sue

Such a sad sight Twinkle, unfortunately some do get trodden down if they have perished and too big for parents to remove. You know you had some chicks fledge so you have to say that was more successful than for some of us. Well done for that Sue

Cam box is again being occupied at night. We have been trying to decide if it is the same BT. Instead of just flying in and snuggling in corner it is looking all around. It was only empty for one night.
