This chap visited the pond recently. I think maybe juvenile blackbird, any thoughts? About blackbird size, perhaps a bit smaller:

I like the juvenile starlings when they start developing their adult feather, You see them like this by end of summer look really cool.

Really Elle? Its when they're starting to get their adult feathers. Normally start looking like this over the summer, Have a look out during July. You should start seeing them like this!

Believe me Paul, my garden gets swamped with starlings all the time, and as you may know I’m not a lover of them, too greedy for my liking!! Honestly, I’ve never seen them like this! Unless they grow a bit beyond this stage before they come and steal my food Elle xx

I am surprised by this Elle, I always see them like this around our garden. Hopefully you do this year while they're robbing your foodcool2

Can't say I've ever seen them at this stage either. We don't get a lot though, we get a short period of about 6,then they disappear 🤷
