my name is Kevin and I live in Bishop Auckland, County Durham. My local patch where I do a lot of my bird watching is called Gaunless flatts which is a wetland habitat. i am looking forward to being involved in some of the great discussions on the forum. If moderators would like to delete my earlier attempt of joining the forum this morning as I had some technical hitches.

We're a friendly bunch, However you will sometimes see some humour and jokes made that might come across crazy! But you'll get used to it in no time, Sometimes its half humour half serious in my case!

Kevin. So glad you got sorted. We are a friendly bunch - but a bit nutty too sometimes. I am sure you’ll soon be ‘at home’ and joining in happily with the forum. Sue

Elle and sammi for the warm welcome. I’m already enjoying reading the different threads but I need to get to grips with uploading pictures to the forum.

again Kevin! Thanks for your background info, a geordie! My paternal Grandad & siblings were born in Spennymoor & their Dad married a Cornish lady at Bishop Auckland Reg. Office after her Cornish parents moved from Constantine to Durham in 1871. I love the geordie accent.

Especially the castle and it’s large grounds and park.
