Thanks everyone - I read those instructions but still couldn't get the photo displayed on my posting, only the URL(?) but it seems as if you all could see it, so I'll have to settle with that. The long lay-off hasn't done me any good at all. (I'm 83 now and forgetting more things than I remember!   ) |

Here is Mrs with a bit of side view. She's not done much nest building today but has sat in the b ok x dreaming of better weather   I think we’re all dreaming of better weather Sammi, all fed up with it now. We had a long heavy spell of hailstones here on the south coast today 🤷♀️. No wonder the birds are confused. Sue ps heading down your way next week so hope the sun shines ha ha |

If you get stuck again there is a post about how to insert images to your post etc right above our conversations on this part of the forum. Hi Beechnut I haven't tried to post a picture for ages. I've just gone on to post images to remind myself and I seem to remember you use the direct link ( copy) and paste it into insert photo on here. I think you needed to delete a space that somehow occurs in front of the link. I'm going to see if it works as that sounds confusing  |

Well it’s more like autumn weather here Going to be wet and windy most of the week No wonder the birds are holding back from nesting and raising their broods I hope the weather brings you some house hunting birds Ann. I had honestly given up. I have everything crossed for you.  Even this nesting pair that have started a nest at mine don't seem to be in any rush  |

When I’m passing a window I just look up that’s about my story now

Little update. Seems the female is quite intelligent, the last two nights of very heavy winds here she has spent in the box😊. Still bringing in soft material but no sign of eggs yet, and a little worryingly I haven’t seen the male in attendance for a while. Am hoping he is just letting her get on with things and is still around . Going to be away next week so won’t know if any eggs until I get back which is going to be very frustrating, but have to keep hubby happy and at least it keeps him off the balcony  . Sue |

Early morning fussing seems to be the only time she's revealing what might be in the nest cup - probably because the eggs are being laid during the very early hours. First pic here shows one egg very clearly, but I'm starting to think there might actually be three in there at the moment - see pic 2.   |

Excellent Pete. You got a live stream sorted yet? Alas John no I haven't. There is also no audio on the RTSP stream on this new camera and that's been verified as a fault by GF. I'm keeping things minimal now - just using the GF smartphone app and grabbing any interesting clips as they get detected automatically. Assuming the eggs hatch I'll probably switch the camera to continuous record for a while... Hoping to have much better tech ready for next year. |
