At least you got 50% success after all that drama.
I had a 1 chick/3 egg scenario once, but it was different to yours in that she laid them very late in the season,It was a very old box in the corner, I just happened to turn on the camera after never having had success with it, saw 3 eggs, one chick hatched, but she proceeded to keep incubating the other 2 eggs and ignored the new chick, it died obviously and she calmly removed it and kept incubating the other eggs for weeks with no success.
Very happy to see your chick is being cherished, I was slightly worried history might have been repeated.
