Nothing in my side boxes this year, The side view box is personally my favourite I like the view you get when you get a nest.
I got my side view boxes before my flat roof, Autumn 2015, I have 3 side boxes and 2 flat roof boxes.
From 2016-2020 I've had 2 nests in my side view boxes
from 2017-2020 I've had 5 nests in my flat roof ones (would of been 6 but one female went missing one year leaving an half build nest)
I didn't really think about it much but when looking back over it they are my most successful boxes in terms of my BT nests yearly.
Like this year I have two BT nests both in flat roof boxes and I only have 2 flat roof boxes 10 boxes in total but we will say 7 when you take out the swift box, starling box and sparrow box.

2 pitched roof boxes
All being GN boxes.
