Just took some measurements for you Matt see pictures.
The hole to base is showing as around 13.5cm but its probably more likely 12cm or 12.5cm as the wood overlaps to screw the front on.
The inside base is 14cm from the back wall to the front of the box and around 10.5cm across, Have a look at the pictures you'll get a better idea.
