Thank Helen....actually I think the toothpaste trick has actually worked???!!!....she has given up and hasn't returned at all for quite some time.
Yes, with the Covid 19 rules in place, I doubt the local hardware store will view my wasp visit as an dire emergency!! lol!!
I've to buy a few things on Amazon, including my 'cat deterant jet spray' so I'll have a look into getting some paper wasp lanterns too...seems where I'm now living is going to have a lot more wasps than I'm used to. I'll place a few around the eaves.
