I really am hoping that something comes of this. Wouldn't it be brilliant!!!!
Just when you mention everything being in leaf...
I went out this morning to seek out the Oak trees in the area.
I found a large, mature one nearby and at present,there is only tight buds still, a small hint of green starting at the tips of the buds but absolutely no leaves at all yet anywhere on the tree.
Is this a deciding factor to when they start building?
If so, is it possible I can hold out hope for another few weeks?
