Welcome to the forum laurel, just leave it be, the egg doesn’t have a “baby” in yet it takes the mother to incubate it before any development happens, even if you did have an incubater, Doves are extremely hard to bring up, the first week or so of their life they live on “crop milk” that the mother produces, making it very hard to try and raise them! My advice would be leave the egg, or destroy it simply by smashing it or leave it on the ground it will make a meal for another animal such as an hedgehog or so on. Hope this helps!
