I've had succesfull broods of 10 in the past Paul so in my experience 8 - 10 eggs is pretty much the norm.
She's settled on 8 by the looks of it Beechnut she's been sitting all morning and as i wright this she's just gone for about her second break, the males been very good bringing in food.
