NEW SEASON 2020 ANN / SPRINGTIME 66

finally, I've seen evidence of nesting from the great tits, she was collecting wool this morning, she headed for the trees, no one has bird boxes around here and i dont get them nesting in mine. but its good to know we will have more great tits around my garden in the next few weeks.
as for anything else happening ive decided to realise I'm not going to get any nests this year, but who knows a great tit may have a 2nd brood in one of my boxes.   

im going to go back into the other room and carry on with my jigsaw, ive spent so much time  being rooted to the spot, just looking out the back window for a glimpse of hope

My season probably finished a while ago longer than i want to admit really, ive tried to stay positive but a nest is not  to be
