My son set my system up from spy cameras/green feathers, onto my laptop, and only way I can tell if I have a visit etc is to have laptop on all day with it set to motion record. Am I running the risk of it overheating then? It does power right down, but don’t want to risk losing it altogether. Laptop not used for anything else.Sue
With streaming on to YouTube, the computer has to work quite hard all the time, so it can get a bit hot.....a bit like us when we have to do some exercise!
Do you have a tablet or iPad? If you do, you can also have an app called XMEye, for green feathers cameras (I know you can for the ip ones anyway)
