Just to be sure, I have just tried this out.
Without switching off the live stream, by simply changing the channel number at the end of the URL in your streaming software (I'm using OBS Studio) and it works immediately!!
Even during the live stream...
The cameras switched to camera 2 seamlessly.
And knowing this now....I bet there is a way to have the live stream set up that it can switch between cameras intermittently too.
That's my next project!!!!
