Once you have your RTSP link format correct, then you can select/change your channel or 'ID'.
For example, the HiVision RTSP URL combination is:
rtsp://DVRlogon:password@camera iP address/Streaming/Channel/102
So, the 102 = channel 1, substream 2.
If I wanted to select a different channel, say Camera 4...I would type 402 at the end.
I believe all DVRs have their own specific rtsp URL combinations...can usually be found online. But they all follow a similar format.
