Thanks...yes, I think I'm at the end of the road with it.
1. I don't have any IP cameras - they are just standard birdbox cameras, but my DVR is Network enabled, so I was able to make the OBS software 'talk' to my DVR using the camera channels unique IP address - it does throw up an image - just really bad one!! It nearly got good for a second, then it was gone? This is the bit I don't understand. 2.Even though the images looks great on my monitor, I think the resolution is too low in the Sony 700TL Effio to live stream. The optimum is 1080P and all I can get is up to 960*576 (WD1) on Channel 1 using this camera.
Is this the case though??? Surely other people have used these little guys to live stream their footage?
I have fast broadband, so I can't imagine that could be the issue.
So, thats that!!!...unless someone else can spot anything obvious from my posts? Maybe a setting that I don't have switched on or something?
Like all these things...I bet its something REALLY simple.
I'm at a loss for now anyway.
