I think the RTSP url is correct as I'm getting an image up on OBS, but its just a really really crappy one. I'll try the sub stream now.
P.s that IP address in my above post was a made up one to use as an example...it is not my actual IP address....
But no worries, I'll keep working away here and see if there is something I can do. I'm enjoying trying to work it out...learning a lot!!!
My set up is a HikVision DVR using a Sony 700TVL Effio bird box camera on Channel 1.
